OK Rent A Car

Having been established in 2010, OK Rent a Car are a relatively young company based in Mallorca and offer vehicles for hire throughout Spain, Italy and Portugal. As part of the larger OK group of mobility and tourism companies, the rent a car business has had much growth and success in recent years and now covers over 30 offices, including an expansion into Greece.

The OK fleet is refreshed regularly so you can be assured to receive a near-new car. They also have a wide range of vehicles available including convertible, premium, electric, SUV, compact and family vehicles.

OK is a popular choice for customers who want a modern vehicle and quality service but don't mind spending a little extra time on a shuttle bus to reach the office for the money it saves on your car hire. We're also able to sell OK's zero-excess cover – just make sure to scroll down to the "Stress Free" options where the vehicles are listed.

The hire cars on our site always include a fair full to fuel fuel policy.

Hiring a car with Ok Rent A Car without an Excess Held on Your Credit Card

The excess is the total amount you would be required to pay if the vehicle is written off, severely damaged or stolen. The excess amount on rental cars can be very expensive. It's often between £850 to £2,100. If you return the car damaged, or it's stolen or written off, you'll have to pay up to the total amount of the excess.

On collection of the hire car, the insurance excess is held on your card as something called a 'pre authorised' transaction. This means that the money is not charged to your credit card as a normal transaction, it's held as a pending payment until you return the car. You won't usually have to pay foreign currency charges on credit cards for pre authorised payments. As long as the car is dropped off in the same condition as when you collected it, this excess amount is fully refunded to your credit card without anything additional to pay.

If you intend to pay for your rental by debit card, the insurance excess amount will be taken from your account and refunded when the car is dropped off. If you plan to use debit card on collection, as the excess amount can be high, it's recommended to buy Premium Cover when you book or to buy top up cover at the rental desk.
