When collecting the vehicle, the lead driver must present the following:
- Valid driver's license
- Credit card in the lead driver's name (Visa and Mastercard only)
- Booking confirmation email
When collecting your vehicle you will be required to leave a security deposit
on your payment card.

Note – Releasing your deposit
Be aware that OK have a policy of not releasing your Security Deposit for 14-30 days after you return the vehicle. This is to ensure that there are no traffic/parking fines received after you have returned the vehicle. If this is a problem, you can consider taking out their OK Premium Cover which reduces your security deposit to zero.
All OK's vehicles are Full to Full as standard - it will be full when you collect it and should be returned full to avoid extra charges.
OK Rent a Car have an unlimited mileage policy for all vehicles hired in the Balearic Islands but be aware that you are not permitted to take the vehicle on a ferry.
Fees and Taxes
Local fees and taxes are included in this price.
OK charge a €50 administration fee for the processing of any fines or a €60 Damage Administration Fee following damage/theft claims (unless you take out premium cover). Further to this, should an Accident Report be requied, you'd be charged an extra €50 fee.
After collecting your baggage, go the the terminal hall. Exit the terminal and go toward the bus stop, located 100m to your right. At this point you will find the black minibus with green OK Rent a Car.
When collecting the car, the lead and any additional drivers must present their full, valid driver's license. Photocopies are not accepted.
Each driver must have had this license for at least 1 year. All drivers must be at least 19 years of age.
If your driver's license contains characters which are not in the Roman Alphabet, you will also require an International Driver's License.
Once your paperwork has been inspected, you will be asked to sign a Rental Agreement. This is a contract between you and the car hire company and contains the terms and conditions for your rental. The agreement may include some location-specific conditions as well as setting out the limitations of any cover you have and the extra costs you may be liable for. You will be given the keys once you and any additional drivers have signed the agreement but don't rush, once you've signed you are legally bound to the terms of that document.
Cross Border Rules
Vehicles hired in Spain may be driven to Andorra, Portugal and France but you will need to inform staff at the collection desk
and purchase their additional "OK Premium Cover International" product. Prices are €25, €30 or €40 per day depending on vehicle class - email us for more information if needed..
Vehicles may not be taken on a ferry without prior authorisation.
If you will be late for collection, OK Rent a Car always ask that you contact your collection office direct and advise them of the delay, especially if you will be more than 60 minutes late, or risk having your booking cancelled. If you're collecting from an airport but are delayed, the desk will usually remain open if you have given a valid a flight number as part of your booking. If the branch has to remain open beyond normal hours, you will be charged an Out Of Hours fee of €50.
Insurance and Cover
Included in the price
This product includes Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) with Theft Protection and Third Party Liability Cover. This means that you are insured for damage to or theft of the vehicle and also against any third party claims.
Should there be a claim, you will be liable up to the value of the excess payment unless additional insurance is taken out.
In any situation, you are not covered for damage or loss as a result of violating the conditions set out in your rental agreement.
With standard insurance you are not covered for mis-fueling, special cleaning, loss of the keys/number plates or damage to the clutch, engine, upholstery or extra equipment. Unless you choose to extend your insurance, you are also not covered for damage to tyres, wheels, battery, windows or locks and there may be extra costs for any roadside assistance you require.
Any additional charges may also include an administration fee.
This vehicle comes with basic cover for theft or damage to the vehicle. Should there be any claims, you will be liable for up to €900 inclusive of taxes. Both OK and Stress Free offer excess protection to reduce your excess to zero.
Please pay attention to the procedure for reporting an incident which will be explained in your rental agreement at the collection desk. Failing to follow this procedure could result in you being liable for the full value of the claim.
Depending on the supplier, you will typically have two choices when it comes to paying for fuel.
- Full to Full: This is usually the most cost effective option. The vehicle will be fuill when you collect and you must fill it up again just prior to return. If you select this policy and do not re-fill the vehicle, the supplier will charge you for the fuel you have used at a price that is often higher than would be charged at a local service station.
- Pre-paid: This is the most convenient option. You pre-pay your tank of fuel (including a service charge) which means you collect the vehicle full and can return it empty at no extra charge. Note that you will not be refunded for fuel you do not use. Some suppliers give us the "pre-paid" rate where we include this in your price but usually we offer "Full to Full" and you would ask to pre-pay your tank at the collection desk.

There is no need to pre-book additional drivers as they can be added at the collection desk.
OK Rent a Car allow up to 2 additional drivers per vehicle. The first additional driver will pay €7 per day (with a min. charge per rental of €18, max. of €70) and the second additional driver pays €1 per day (min.€1, max €30). Each additional driver will need their Driver's License and Passport.
Young (19-25) drivers will be charged more.
The supplier offers child/baby seats and Sat Nav systems, both for €6 per day (min. €9, max €90). We recommend that you include these in your booking on our site to help guarantee availability.
You can also add "Speedy Check-in" to skip the queues at the collection desk. This can be pre-booked on our site as part of your booking or purchased at the collection office for €18.
Changes to length of rental
Vehicles may be returned early - there will be no charge for this but no refund will be given. To extend your rental after collection, you will be required to return to to an OK Rent a Car office prior to tne end of your reservation (extensions are subject to availability).
It is free to cancel your booking at any time until 48 hours before collecting the vehicle. Once within 48 hours of collection, you will not be able to cancel your booking and any payments made cannot be refunded.
If you wish to make changes to your booking, you will most likely be required to cancel and rebook. There is no cost for cancellations. If you only wish to change your flight or phone number, you can email our customer services team on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Refunds after vehicle collection
The suppler may refuse collection of your vehicle for reasons such as not being fit to drive, missing required identification or not having the correc type of payment card in the lead driver's name with sufficient funds available. In the event of such a refusal, no payments made will be refunded.
The supplier does not offer credit or refunds for early returns of the vehicle.
In the event of "Delayed Charges" (fines, motorway tolls, failing to refuel, extra days, damages, loss and any associated admin charges), your Security Deposit may only be part-refunded.
Unless we indicate a "guaranteed model", vehicles are reserved by class of vehicle and not by make and model. The vehicles displayed are the commonly used models for our partners in your chosen country. If that particular vehicle is not available, the supplier will typically offer another vehicle of the same or higher class at no additional cost.
If you are travelling with disabled passengers, be sure to forward your confirmation email to email@example.com with any special requirements and we will forward these to the supplier for you. We can't offer any guarantees that they will be able to help but we're happy to try. If you're collecting from an airport, providing your flight number will help.
